The tractor trailer was full of watermelons when it pulled up to a southern Arizona checkpoint. But, the overwhelming scent of fresh fruit wasn't enough to throw off a drug sniffing dog.

Packed into containers, mixed in with the real melons, border officers found nearly 700 packages of pot. They were shaped like watermelons, even covered with green wrapping.  In all, they found nearly 5,000 pounds of pot with an estimated street value of nearly $2.5 million. The 26-year-old driver from Mexico was turned over to ICE.
