(Glendale, AZ)  --  Police are reporting that Glendale mayoral candidate Walt Opaska was assaulted on Wednesday when he confronted a man who had stolen his campaign signs.

Opaska said he took photos of the stolen signs in the back of the maniacs truck and threatened to call the police. The man then punched Opaska.  

Police said no arrests were made, but Opaska said he will press charges.
