A utility company in Pinal County says water is safe to drink in the Florence area and tests revealed no bacteria.

 

Bottled water was flying off the shelves in grocery stores around San Tan Valley amid reports the water supply from Johnson Utilities tested positive for E. coli.  Residents were encouraged to boil water before using it.

Johnson Utilities tested the water at two state-certified labs and results came back negative for E.coli and harmful bacteria.
