A man who teaches karate to kids has been accused of molesting two children.

47-year-old Scott Alan Flood is facing two counts of molestation of a child.

During a forensic interview, the 5-year-old girl reported that the suspect tickled her private area over her clothes. She said it happened every time she went to a karate lesson at a school in Chandler.

Flood allegedly told her multiple times not to tell her mom and dad.

As detectives were investigating this case, they ran into a previous incident investigated by Tempe police back in 2010. In that case, he was also accused of molesting a 5-year-old girl in one of his karate classes.

In that case, the victim told her she was gorgeous and tickled her butt under her clothes.

Flood was arrested on Friday and denied the allegations against him. He said that if he had touched the girls in that way, it was not intentional.

Flood has contracted his services as a karate teacher at various preschools and day care centers in the east valley for several years.

Flood lives in Chandler with his wife. No bond was set in his case.
