PHOENIX - Fox 10- For the second day in a row, we're getting a sad reminder to watch your kids around water.
A one-year-old boy was rushed to an area hospital after being pulled from a pool near 35th Avenue and Thunderbird Road around 7 p.m.
The child's father realized the boy was missing and found him in the pool.
The boy's mother was not home at the time, but there were five adults present.
A next door neighbor alerted to the chaos and tried to help. He jumped over the fence, was bit by a dog, got away, and helped administer CPR.
This was the third drowning call the Phoenix Fire Department responded to on Tuesday. This is their 30th call this year.
The good news is paramedics were able to detect a pulse on the way to the hospital.
The boy remains in extremely critical condition.
